No probs matey, as said I enjoyed reading through it all! Thanks for the info about the little spacers, I can't believe you have to buy a whole new filler neck!! Stuff that as there's nothing wrong with mine, shame, I assumed you got them in a little bag from Renault. Wishful thinking...
Great updates and attention to detail in the thread yet again, nicely done chap, have enjoyed reading all that! The car is looking better than ever with the new seats and stuff, the swap to the now silver Turini’s was a good idea imo and they look soooo fresh in that silver, as you said, it IS a...
Yeah you can't de-badge it, I certainly couldn't anyway...... that's really good they gave a warranty on a Mk4 just shows they obviously had confidence in it! I always found VW main dealer service really good though, well at mine anyway, I had a Mk4 GTi 25th Anniversary edition a couple of years...
Nothing wrong with the stereo idea and I would 100% have to have one myself........ getting a genuine one for the oem look will be a nice touch, nice and subtle!
I'm in :up::up: tickets bought and paid for as soon as I saw it on the home page........ which was a fail as now I've just seen the link in this thread for discount 😂 but oh well, it's all good in the hood!
@T9 0LLE fancy another show?
Great progress again with the car parts all coming together, should be a right little weapon this!!! Will be interested to see that dash pod etc etc all fitted and plumbed in. The Golf is stunning though, I'd have to keep that as a comfy daily but appreciate the idea of the better towing van :up:
The interior looks soo smart now, the yellow was ok as it matched the car BUT now it's been changed, looks sooo much more subtle........ amazing the difference those relatively small pieces make in different colours
Yeah I get that with the Type-R, it's quick but only at it's best in v-tec and must be quite a bit heavier than the Clio! I certainly didn't regret the change
This is looking really smart! Fingers crossed for an easy fix............ did you say you got both sets of wheels with it? Looks soo much better with the anthracite wheels but awesomeness is still present in those photos :cool:
Extra man points for this one, always liked these and that looks a cracker........ I too would go for the auto myself as what a perfect daily cruiser, but with power and a good list of gadgets :cool:
The clubsport looks an awesome bit of kit, really does, but i'm staying in the R32 camp lol, that sounds a cracking find!! One mature owner from new and low miles too!! VERY nice! :cool:
I spotted the Abarth lurking in the back of one of the photos, still got that as well!?
That's another co-incidence, I sold my own cosmic grey type-r on an 05 plate and replaced it with an arctic 😂
Gutted about the wheel!! Hopefully it'll be an easy fix if you can get the colour match
Nice! I totally agree with the comments above, why sell it and start again with an unknown when you've had this from the start and know everything that's been done and when
