Wipers just stopping were they want, Also if i put them on and try and turn off they go for 10 swoops before stopping, at any location,
Ive changed the wiper motor? Any other things too look at

Its a 2.0 16v Mk1. I have done as you have described. Not too worry getting a exper of getting the belt off and back on within 1 hour now LOL, The jys of having a very very stripped bay @_
I feel like a right bloody nugget asking this question but im fed up.
Replaced the Head on the car at the weekend due to a inlet sucking the in a stone.
I replaced head and replaced all seals... in te kit i had variosu gaskets and oil seals.
2 x Oil Seals with a smaller internal...
Its getting on well, Got the Carbon bonet fitted now too wich make it looks nice :)
Still plenty to do :) the Diff is the next big thing and a new Clutch :)

After our no matter what we did with the standard 172 engine we couldnt seem to get below 14.1 at the POD. We decided after ceeing a Turbo And a TB's Clio that we needed to "spend" so off we went and got a Full Jenvys TB's and a OMEX ECU Thanks K Tech. Best price around for...
I dont knwo why people bang on saying the 172 belt id a night mare floating crank etc, if you lock it all up with the tool then it will be perfectly fine. the lockibg kit cost me £65 to lock cams and crank
Any one else got any info on this. Does any oen knwo what compresion that each Cyl Should have, going to do a compresion test tomorrow so i need too know :)
Also is there a guide or can any one help with me how to time the car back to the correct way. and the torque setting for the idleer...
but to be honest for what it takes to drop the subframe out the 16v takes about 30 minutes with hubs, the engine then goes onto wood, lift it up with my 2 poster and leaves the engine on the floor = easy, much easyer too see then the side with a dirty big massive front leg in your way :)
no mate it does it all the time, it didnt ustill today tho. Im pissed with it but im getting the engien out tomorrow to check the timing :) should take abt 2 hours or so thank got i have a 2 poster :)
