It has been done where people have just bolted the seats to the floor pan but this imo is a bodge.
To do it right you need to get some subframes. I use to have omp ones and they were about £80 a pair iirc.

Nope.
182 cup packed and trophys are 60mm
everything else including your 172 cup is 54mm.
if you wanted to you could drill new holes to make them fit. Not a difficult job.
I work at Renault and drive them all the time. Personally I say their a bit Boring. They juat don't do anything good. I.e poor mpg and poor performance. If your funds will allow go for a 172. The 2.0 gets about the same mpg as the 1.6 and actually has some kick.
