I think the more you make your car stand out, The more bad attention it attracts. Its sad that keeping low key is the best option, But there are some silly people out there and they will damage the car that sticks out the most (IMO)
Back on topic, You can have the key scratches smart repaired...
Just checked my oil because of this thread, Its inbetween min and max.
Ive got a 1.2. What oil is ok to top up with?
Im getting it serviced in jan or feb, This is just for now.
Yep, Ive got it. Got a little arsenal. Trying not to spend too much on it though as i realised that i dont need it all and can out the money to better use.
Still love my car clean and fresh though !
^ Such a shame i didnt ask before :(
Its a killer about paying over the odds, But its done now.
Brakes where fitted today, Feels so much better to drive now there a little bit bedded in.
Also said i wasnt happy with the belt, Not sure what he did probably retentioned it, But its not making...
Sounds like a broken connection in the cirucuit. Have a close look at the orange lines on the inside of the screen and see if you can find a break. If you can theres kits you can buy to fix the break.
Or it could be something to do with electrics? A bit strange seeing as one half is working...
My dealer didnt have that deal, Would have been nice. They wanted £333.
Belt sounds fine now so im ok with it. Its going back friday for the brakes fitted. I cant be bothered mucking about in the cold with something i dont know how to do.
Overall im happy.
I thought i read somewhere it was about 120 quid.
How much do they cost? (air-con)
I am pissed off now !!!
And how much do you think a good garage would charge to fit brake discs and pads (i supply the parts) ?
I want to fit them myself. Might just do it.
The cambelt kit costs 120 is on its own doesnt it?, After the aux belt and alernator belt, And your saying waterpump. How would they only charge 50 ish quid to fit that all?
It was cambelt kit, Auxbelt kit, He said he would tell me if the waterpump needed doing and he said it didnt.
I dont think ive been gangraped.
Reno wanted 333 but i already booked into the garage so i didnt want to muck him about.
Its not making a noise as such, wish i hadnt said that now.
Its been done by an independant garage. Happy its done. Cost £340.
Sounds ok, A small hint of a rubbing sound but thats because the belts new a tight isnt it?
Now apparently my brakes are "very dangerous" which i dont think they are, The discs are quite low though. Thats booked in for...
Thats a fair price for that screen i would say.
Last year i paid £99 each for my 2 acer 19" widescreens. That was when everything else was around the £300 mark so i was pleased. Still am.
If you look on Hotdealsuk everyday, Theres a few silly bargains that pop up.
