Mine is (all approx) 38 in 1st, 68 in 2nd, 95 3rd, 125 4th and whatever in 5th. This is with the Rsport...about 7700rpm but 4th and I assume 5th is pretty much 8k

I haven`t played DOA for a while but it used to be just a simple button press...can`t remember which one but check the book...back and something I reckon

b*****d! I bought this a month or so ago.....should get a race together as I have hardly played i recently... I use my dual shock PS2 pad and it is pretty good but obviously not as good as with a proper wheel setup..

Fairdoos...I`ll just have to try and be happy that my car can pull quick enough to keep up with traffic in town in 5th at 25mph with no judder but revs to 8k when I need it to (some would say that was flexible enough!)
Chris
The civic might be 'gutless' below a certain rev but if you were aiming to drive fast then surely you`d be in the right gear to get the most out of it. Mine pulls very well from 50mph in 3rd but if I wanted I could use 2nd and it pulls a lot harder....I guess the Willie is the king on the...
Eh? Where is he getting angry there? And for someone who doesn`t give a s**t don`t you think it`s a little sad boasting about a car you don`t even own? The lad with the 5 is a great bloke and I`ve spoken to him at York loads of times but to be fair he has been building it up slowly for...
It won`t be much faster but it will be...Craggy`s 106 was one of the faster ones and his best was 14.6 IIRC...can`t remember his mods but I`m sure it was something like manifold, decat/exhaust ect
Chris
So basically we can`t say which is better then, we can only rely on peoples opinion which obviously differs between different people .....hooray the topic can end! lol :approve: ;)

....and this is why there are always pages and pages on these kind of topics...who decides what real life speed is? Surely if you are driving along and see a 1*2 you can`t try and direct them to a nice bumpy twisty road so that you can get a "real life" comparison...
Thats what makes me laugh about these arguments....when the twisties are involved the driver is 90% of the speed...a straight line test maybe be boring and something any 'idiot' can do but this is a better test of the car and not down to the driver imo (when you are talking about speed not...
I had a R reg one years back...was a great little engine and took a real beating without any probs. I had a filter, backbox and a FSE power boost valve. With these mods I pulled away pretty well from my m8s Nova SR which really didn`t go down too well! lol
