Go for alpine or pioneer head unit. Some say fusion speakers are sh*t but i got some up front and they are ok. 6x9s are ok too, got some vibe kevlars in my parcel shelf and im happy with them. but even better is to uprate front and rear speakers, then amp them.

The new car smell is just the general clean smell i think. If you clean with good products, dont smoke, have pets or eat in the car etc it will always have that new car smell. I dont like it that much really. Like the air freshener smell better.

Buy a "new car smell" xmas tree air freshener lol. Mine went after i put my poppy coral air freshener in. Think the new car smell gets abit sickly after a while.

Just got the pipercross on. took me about 5 mins to swap. Happy with the sound. Not loud, just tunefull when revs are high. Like it a lot.

This is what made me not bother. I might invest in a cheap alarm, or some fake g5 stickers.

Yeah, you unbolt the air box, and take it off. then install the air filter. Easy enough job. I took my airbox off to see what it was like. took 10mins. Not sure which is loudest to be honest. But pipercross uses sponge, which lets more air in i think. and K&N uses paper/mesh, something like...

Brought a pipercross filter off a forum member, Cant wait for abit of noise. Obviously it wont sound pukka untill you have a loud exhaust etc. go for a pipercross, as i hear they make the most noise? Ebay will probably be cheaper.

Wire wool, Hammerite smooth. Wouldnt spray, will go everywhere if windy etc. Doing mine soon.

Yeah, they seem good. Couple of the number where abit wonky cut, but seems cool. I used Homebase clearcoat and it took well, few bubbles around the sticker but it could be the moisture. Overall happy. Looks good in the car. Cheers for the comments :)

You cleaned your car with glass cleaner? I think the reason its not done is the chemicals in the cleaner are not meant for the paint lol

Got my Decal off matt_trev and re-sprayed my old gear knob insert. Sanded> Grit: 600,1600,2000,3000. Sprayed silver> Applied decal> Clearcoat x4 Old and crappy Sanded Decal Applied: Clearcoated Looks good in the car, matches the silver inserts ;)

I think you might be putting in the ram the wrong way. you must have 4x 1gb sticks of ram? Is it dual channel slots on the board? And is the ram all the same make, model, spec?

Yeah, Pleased with the result. Ive got boring alloys, so nothing to shout about. Might have gone for silver if i had nicer alloys.
