The only mods I had on mine was the outwardly rolled 3" or 3 1/2 " exhaust (cant remember but it fit perfectly into the cutaway on the bumper) and the usual filter/dumpvalve/bleedvalve. Had it rrd at 150 and tweaked it a fair bit after that...very quick little car and was good for over 140...
Yeah yeah....Maybe I should tell you about a friend who doesnt know Matt but raced him....said hed seen a orange clio with a guy driving it....about 40 years old he reckoned! :D

I think his point is that a younger driver is more likely to drive dangerously. When I had my 1.2 I used to blast around every where and if there was someone in front Id overtake (in a sensible place). I have noticed that as I have grown up I have a lot more patience and can happily stay behind...
I have to agree with Lee there. Although just because someone is young doesnt make them a worse driver, but some people go from a 1 ltr to a quick 2ltr and dont realise just how quick they are accelerating.

Is this the one that still uses the std gearbox? I cant see it lasting too long before it goes bang...they arent the best gearboxes in the world to start with, never mind pushing that sort of power thu it
Chris
I think possibly a typo....maybe into the v high 4s at a push...never into the threes tho....the power you would need to get that low would be too much to allow traction..
Chris
Youd have thought that the tree would have been more damaged than that imo...A little bit of bark is off but nowt else. Also it looks like a demo of what could happen...a couple of older people (teachers?) are there and it looks like they are tell the kids about it

Eh those times are impossible Craig...the time is quicker at the pod?! ;)
And if the Pod is sooo good why is the start line traction so much better at York? I would love to run at the pod but I aint travelling all that way just to sit in a huge queue and get two runs. Probably better times at...
Aye only 15.5 but at something daft like 106 mph. Was a real shame that the weather was so bad as it wasnt too busy (but probably the rain put people off!)
