In front of the battery there are 2 earths don't worry about those those as they won't have been touches when the gearbox is removed.
Give this gearbox earth a go because I would bet my shoes that's the problem
It does actually cancel but it just takes a second longer and feels a little rough!
sorry I didn't see you weren't a member. Put a wire between a2 and a3 (cruise on) and then a2 and b1 (speed limiter on)
You've obviously got the system working to get your speed limiter to work.
have a look at my guide for cruise control and connect the 12v coming out of the switch to the wire back for cruise. If that doesn't work and it does for speed limiter then the wire to the ECU must be broken somewhere
When you are taking the earth strap on and off disconnect the negative terminal on the battery. You don't have to take off positive. Just like any electrical job.
I haven't read all this through but its what tony said the gearbox earth. Correct set up half way down. Take negative off battery first. No need to remove positive as there isn't a complete circuit.
If you see my thread it's beyond cutting it close. It's going to run over into next week as it's gone from a bit of paint to a whole respray for some reason. No idea why but I may have to flog the Recaros if it becomes too expensive. Even worse my sister has gone on holiday and left MY other car...
Car still not done so I'm not going to be able to make it to CSS unfortunately :'(
lol, it's all going to be superglued!
A ph1 with 182 interior, engine loom and dash loom would possibly be the most wonderful mating ever. Wiring is the kind of stuff people throw away so I recommend you do...
Ohhhhh s**t son that would be marvelous. Unfortunately my car is still not finished which is proving to be a HUGE problem.
Quick buy the kit right now!
Is the Laguna lighter white?
Do I need to get one of these to be in the club?
On the powerder coating, what are you doing about centre caps. I want to get my F1s done but of course want the centre caps to match. Powdercoaters if of course the cheapest way to change the colour though.
I don't remember it being as bad as Fred says.
That plastic cover is complete anus though. Makes putting the new gasket in difficult. If you haven't already done it, get some loctite gasket removed and it will come of fairly easy. ECP is the cheapest for it.
Gates make renault belts.
I always use gates and they come with autodata instructions. They're a huge name so it's not in their interest to make a bad belt
There are no clips. it's just double sided tape.
Trust me though there will not be lots of calcium under there. The whole thing is covered in the tape and doesn't trap water.
If you've got a 182 you've probably got the wrong radio. A tuner list will not work with an update list display and visa verse.
You can tell if you've got an update list as the yellow plug in the back will have looped wires in.
