the rear passenger isn't meant to work, you only need the driver rear fog light to work to pass an MOT etc. not too sure about the front one though

remove stickers apart from the stipes that go over the car - kinda like them aha, get the side strips + bullet painted same colour as the car or wheels!

clios are normally very fuel efficient, 172's can get the same MPG as my 1.2 for example... unless your always bouncing off the limiter and giving it the beans everywhere you go, I can't see it being that bad unless there's something wrong :/ 172's can get 30+ MPG

IMO gloss black or anthracite :)

if you want a good finish, I would recommend getting a body shop to do it, cos I did mine myself and am ridiculously unhappy with the finish I got from it. But if your gonna do it, you will need to sand down to key it, just make sure its fairly smooth before you do it, used some Hycote plastic...

what pads/discs would you recommend?

i left at least the recommended 2 second gap D: and uprated brakes? or just get standard

better brakes... lol my stopping distance isnt great as i nearly rear ended someone the other day as the emergency broke in front of me. I've put some new tyres on and am now wanting better brakes anyway

can you get uprated brakes for a 1.2? only really looking at fronts and rear drums are fine. I'm not sure if you can get uprated discs calipers pads etc for a 1.2 ph1 if you can what would be the best option? if i was to try and do a 172 front brake conversion, what would i need? hubs?

no adam stated there wasnt one under the bonnet. I stated that the only diagram was on the passenger side of the dash. two completely different things.

depends on what you really want to do mate, looks like a nice motor, but if you track it its completely your choice aha if I where you I'd focus on the handling etc, nice coilovers, whiteline ARB things like that mate. but at the end of the day it's your car and your money :) nice pulsar...

definitely get it colour coded! they grey on gold looks too harsh of a contrast, if it was all gold it would look pretty nice mate :) also if your thinking about wheels, get 172 wheels, look nicer than the dynamique wheels also clear side repeaters!
