i think the proper silvertecs (£10 odd for 2) are e-marked as halfords sell them etc and let through the proper amount of light, as opposed to ebay specials, i found this out when fitting mine on the rear, they werent that bright. ill get the proper sets in time i think

when i fitted some to a mates leon, the connections were a little damp and it was the same issues as you're describing

sorry to hijack, i know the majority of CS have the ds2500 and the brembo HC discs. i have been told by a friend that they squeel like pigs and need some heat in them to work properly. anyone with similar experience ?

when messing with my leaky washer jets earlier i found this random wire/hose in my passenger arch, there doesnt seem to be wire inside it just wanted to see if anyone can shed some light on it, its the one on the far right that comes down into the arch thanks :) (sorry for the pants pic)

if its an 'electric' sounding whine ( i say electric as it sounded like an alternator whine on mine) on my car it was the aux belt idler

theres a thread somewhere, its beacause you locked the car too quick after turning the ignition off, you need to give it a second or two AFAIK
