They got a big fancy website; http://www.rainx.com/
I've got some knocking around somewhere, its quite decent actually, lasts ages and you don't need to use much either.
Dug out an old Fujitsu 10gb IDE hd and whacked that in, clean install of XP system running as stable as it can be, although I'd forgotton how loud this drive bloody is. Anyway, put my sata drive back in as a secondary (so to speak) drive so I could use the fresh IDE xp install to check this...
FCS 2003 - nice little show, shame about the weather.
2004 - great improvement over the previous year, loads of mint cars, Nick Read's turbo'd valver for one!
2005 - Great show, tracktime was good bit of the track were a bit suspect thou, melted my tyres and brakes had loads of fun.
2006 -...
Chkdsk will run after a reboot, but it pauses at 30% on step 4 I think. Deffo got hard drive issues.
Have searched for other PSAPI.DLL's and have either deleted or renamed them to PSAPI.OLD.
Damn, I uninstalled it in haste, I'll try putting it back on and seeing what happens. Think I'm going to have to dig out an old 540mb IDE drive and use that as my primary drive, then add the sata drive as a secondary drive and start looking for whats wrong. I've also tried Maxtor Powermax but...
Pretty sure I can sort this out myself, changing pads seems a doddle having looked at the guide, but there isn't a guide on the discs. Can't be much more work?
Alls I'm unsure of is any extra bits I might need; gonna fit brembo hc discs, 182 front pads (they are a newer design than the 172...
Got more problems now! Used the Tuneup utilities and it deleted some of my registry, but its caused a problem with a dll file, psapi.dll. Everytime I run any program it says 'The procedure entry point GetProcessImageFileNameW could not be located in the dynamic link library psapi.dll'
I've...
Cheers donnnnny! Current drive is a maxtor, i've always stuck with those in the past, are western dig drives any better these days?
Mike, dare I ask what the ratio of p**n:music is!!?
I've got 3 partitions on my h/d, one for my system & software, docs etc and the other two are for music and the third partition is for vids and large image files etc, formatting the primary partition via windows setup should fix any disc errors solely on that partition, no? Is there a chance the...
My hard drive seems to be on its way out, when I scandisk it, it pauses at 30% on the 4th check and just stops. Windows loads up fine and stuff, everything else works. Can't help but thing I might have some bad sectors/CRCs on the hd and its going to f**k everything up soon.
Is there any 3rd...
Fresh install with a bare min system would prob be your best bet, try one hard drive then the other etc. When ur system is up and running update all your drivers etc but be careful on what you install and in which order, if you get bsod's then you can at least use system restore to roll-back...
I'm sure there is a big thread or something about it on here.
Can't remember too much about the two, but the 16v has a few cosmetic differences over the 8v RSi, bonnet bulge/vent/grille, bigger front and rear arches, also had 15 inch alloys but the RSi had 14's. They share the same seats...
i had one break on my 1.4 rt but that was slightly over its timing belt change anyway. Didn't cause much damage to the engine and managed to get it fixed without it costing too much really, was quite lucky.
Had an aux belt simply 'slip off', would you believe it, that was after Renault had...
Can't help but being tight on these Fred as the service is still due as well. I guess £57 for discs is ok I remember valver discs being of a similar price a long while ago. Thx for the help.

£55 all in. for pads and discs? Surely not? Anyone bought these before?
My fronts are wearing down, lip on the front discs, pedal is travelling further than it used to and on harsh braking from high speed, especially in the wet, the ABS is snapping at my right foot, so I'm in need of some new front stoppers.
Standard Ren discs seem to be enough from what I've...
On joining the M11 (N) I saw a non-cupped arctic blue 182, then, saw a black 55 plate cupp'd 182 at some services just after the A414/Harlow junction of the M11 heading northbound, that was greeted by a silver 182 just outside of Cambridge.
Spotted a couple of 1*2's heading southbound on the...
I've had my 172 FF for almost 3 years now, I always wanted a Naples Red or Tungy Grey valver since I bought my 91 1.4 RT as my first car about 6 years ago, but when the time came round and I could afford a better car I plumped for a Flame Red FF 172. 182's were new on the scene and so I just...
