Nice one fella :D
hopefully with all your help and advice mine should be easy to fit!
fingers crossed!! :D
did you plug the lambda sensor in on the decat?
mirrors on there own in white would look good, side stripe doesnt though, and i love the steelies but porker wheels will look better.
D90's? or teledials? or something different?
Sounds like possibly, ARB outer Bushes or maybe steering rack or possibly just the tracking needs sorting.
Could be all manner of things, get it to a garage if i were you.
if they are 56.1 on the alloy you'd have to get them bored out, if they are universal fit hubs then you could use spigot rings if they are bigger than 60.1 to bring the bore down to 60.1 if that makes sense.
^^ my bad.
OP, there is an alloy wheel guide stickied at the top of this sub forum :)
also make sure they are universal hub fitment or certainly the same size or bigger than 60.1 centre bore otherwise you'll have to have them bored out which isn't cheap.
the bolt that holds the track rod end on to the track rod.
where its threaded onto the track rod, it then has a parallel bolt to keep it in place.
and yes agreed most are dumb as s**t at kwik fit, but there is one guy at my local one, who coincidentally owns a meggy 225 cup, who actually...
cheers for the useful input, does that count as an infraction? ;) :p
I usually take my car to a mechanic friend, but Kwik fit are the only place that has laser tracking near me.
I think the ball joints on the track rods might have been damaged when they were trying to drill the bolt out of...
on Thursday to get tracking done as they are the only decent local place that has laser tracking.
the kwik fit near me are actually quite good tbh.
anyway, got the car back, and the steering is creaking and making a god awful noise which it wasnt before the tracking was done.
they sheared...
Hi Guys.
had a track rod end replaced sometime ago due to hitting a pot hole, the alloy was damaged as well and was repaired, put the alloy back on and got it tracked.
the alloy felt odd under braking so moved it to the back, all has been fine with the stability etc.
the steering wheel...
took my car on for tracking the other day as after having a track rod end fitted the steering wheel was pissed.
get the car back and now it feels odd, when you steer to the left sometimes it feels like the car wants to keep going to the left slightly and then it corrects.
feels odd but...
got an email earlier for a pre order and a tariff idea for it on voda.
£35 pm - Free Storm - 600mins - unlimited txts, Emails & Internet.
pretty good deal if that is what they are gonna offer at the checkout.
like you i'm on o2, got a curve at the mo, prob get the bold or hold off and wait...
i have this problem on my work pc, but not on my home one, both running vista ultimate, my work one can take 5+ mins to boot to login, once there it logs in quickly but takes 2+ mins to become fully responsive. pissing me off tbh, waiting for it in the morning to boot.
looks like a good upgrade to my 8310, i still have yet to play on the bold but this looks nice, the only thing that puts me off slightly is the onscreen keyboard, its the most essential part of a blackberry imho to maintain ease of use when typing.
im sure RIM will have it nailed though.
