Think you should teach him the ropes, I've seen your straight line skills :rasp:
I didn't think he was driving fast, drive my van faster then that on the back roads of Worksop.
Just make sure you find a place with good rep. I've seen some horrific attempts at a "professional" wrap.
Deep cuts into paint, piss poor prep work, cheap vinyl's. It's just like body shops, there is painting cars and then painting cars right.
Looks spot on!!
For a full wrap on the spoiler, the cheats way, wrap the side edge and trim the top with a scalpel. Then wrap the top like you have, with a small 1-2mm overlap, trimmed really neat, then really heat it and used your finger to massage the two layers. The join would still be...
Am sure on the HEL lines you get Stainless Steel fittings as standard, extra on Goodridge (or that was the case when I bought mine about 5 months ago).
If I was local, I'd have done it for you, used to do it for a living.
The vinyl has a memory and if it's not heated to the right temp after its fitted, it will just keep pulling back.
Is it the 3M stuff they sent you?
He's only ever sold sticker before, going by his feedback. Maybe to build up good feedback, then sell this sort of crap based on his high roller blue/green star.
Make his coin, never send or sell anything run away with all your money or he could be an honest family man trying to keep his kids...
Definitely my next car once I get bored of the cup. That one is just the sort of car I'd look for as well, but the rules state , when your looking for a good clean car there never for sale.
Had the remote fully race balanced, powerflex buttons and carbon fibre wrap, 0 to sky 1 in 3 buttons.
I agree with the whole HD channels to Package system, in all fairness, £1 per month for each package isn't going to break the bank.
Just make sure what ever you wrap is very clean, and wiped down with panel wipe.
Start small and get a feel for the material. If you can get the 3M stuff it will be a lot easier to use and get a much better finish.
Use heat, a nice clean dry finger to apply and plenty scalpel blades.
