Renault unveils New Clio, the latest version of its popular best-seller
25 years after the launch of the original Clio, Renault has renewed its best-seller with the introduction of New Clio
New Clio packs even more seductive appeal thanks to its lighting...
You'll have to wait and see :D
Haha - I genuinely love my 200T as a road car! Pops and bangs on up shifts in sport mode, can put it in automatic when stuck on the M25 in traffic, suspension is compliant on the bumpy country roads but firms up when you want to have a play & the gearbox is fine...
And the balloon is impacted by residual values, which is the major factor when setting monthly PCP payments.
Also having seen the new Mégane RS... It's no pup ;)
Modifying a handful of cars taken off of a production line versus a mass market change (bear in mind you'd need to change the 'standard' Clio too as they are all based off the same body) that would impact over 100k+ vehicles globally are two completely different prospects.
We have a gearbox to fit the engine (it is used in the Juke Nismo), but from what I understand it won't fit due to packaging (shape of gearbox tunnel/ mountings/ etc).
There was a press release, which Ron posted earlier. You can also get it at press.renault.co.uk.
Currently it's a concept car that may be produced in limited numbers, but equally it may not - Still TBC.
If this car is commercialised it will need to be hand built. It will not roll down the...
I've never been in anything like it - 500+bhp in a car which weighs circa 1,200kg equipped with racing brakes and slick tyres. Everything about it was just savage - I only had one lap in it and I'm pretty certain I came out of the car with whiplash due to the braking/ acceleration.
RS.01 has...
Yeh, it doesn't appeal as much to the 'purists', but it has attracted many other customers who wouldn't usually consider R.S. We've also sold more Mk4 R.S. worldwide than we did Mk3, so commercialy at least, it's been a success.
It will certainly be interesting to see how the MK5 Clio R.S...
You alright lad?
It's just the right amount of sporty for me (man, I'm getting old). As much as I loved the 182, it wasn't exactly conspicuous and having Saxos and Corsas constantly 'try it on' got a little tire some. The launch control on this during traffic light GP's is fun though :D
Unfortunately not, but having had a passenger lap in the RS.01. I don't think I would fancy it as a road car in it's racing form!
Looking forward to the Megane GT arriving too, will certainly try and get my hands on one.
And glad to be back!
Having sold this (due to getting a company car):
... Going through various Renault Diesels, climaxing at this (exciting, right!!):
I picked up this a few days ago.
Opted for no cup-pack on this occasion but i'll go for Cup-pack next time. Looking forward to seeing...
Yeh they're pretty well must haves I reckon! I'm tempted to start leveling up the explosives perk. I like the idea of a grenade arch and much more damage.
What are people's must have perks?
For me, critical banker is a great perk. Also intense focus where each consecutive shot in vats becomes more accurate. I'm a stealthy sniper utilitarian character at the moment.
I'm trying to hunt down a two shot hunting rifle but they're rare to come by...
I was thinking same, nowt wrong with that.
V6 values are continuing to rocket though - I don't think it's worth 30k but I think it will certainly go for that money.
PC gaming has always fascinated me but I tried it once and couldn't get on with using a keyboard and mouse. Do you get used to it? Do many people use controllers?

Completely different market over there. No demand really for a car of that nature. Logan and Duster do well, and are badged as Renault (Dacia in Europe).
