LOL @ Waddle :) I still have the vid.
How does it handle, actually not that bad, if its 4 up like the pics, still capable of going round in about 9,30, just hasn't got much pickup and struggle on the uphill sections, oh and it takes both feet on the brake to stop it, LOL
I wouldn't worry about it looking as crap as that, renault have been making hot hatches for as long as most and they have never imo made a minger. its even got an old 182/172 interior, i imagine thats just a quick botch job, to make sure all the test shizzle works, it'll be a looker.
Anyone know what this is like?? Does it have mp3 message tones??, its not for me, but my little french girlfirend and he'd be really happy if u could give him some info.
if yr car is red munchkin, its natural , red paint fades and breaks down faster than most others hence the crazed, thingy. I dont think it will t cut out, u might need to have it resprayed, Carbon bonnet ;)
yep, by law they need washers and adjusters i belive which is why its always been so expensive, i prefer the mk 1 look too, but if yr looking at 500 quid plus, i wouldn't bother imo, unless u plan on keeping the car a good while. I got em as an option on my new Gti, 1500 euros
they look good, but bear in mind, it'll not add much onto the price of it when u sell, is a fairly big job i belive, and should u stuff it, make sure they are declared to the insurance boys or its money down the drain. just swap yr mk 1 for a mk 2, and all yr xenon problems are solved.
i have had it happen at low speed in the wet, on german motorway slip roads usually, and thats on part throttle, tyres can also be a factor, i had Avons on the rear at the time, frightening tyres imo.
its normally lift off inspired, bit of under steer panic and lift off, and round comes the back, i've had it in the dry on the ring, lol what u have to remember is just get back on the throttle and it will naturally balance its self out,i didn't on the ring and it snapped back the other way...
