Did you find out whether that was normal or had a problem? Mine is sounding quite similar and not sure if it's always been like that and I've just noticed it and am now picking up on it more or whether it is more noisy now.
No they were from a Motor factors around the corner from me who are usually very good price wise. Seen others about that price too.
Think I'm likely to go with option 3. Will only increase the insurance £30 a year and it would look better a bit lower, although having said that I have grown up...
Got a leaky rear shock on the Ph1 and have a few options, and just wanted peoples thoughts / opinions as well as some ideas of price and ease to do.
Option 1 - Replace the rear shocks with standards. Been quoted £40 each ex vat.
Option 2 - If i've got the back of the car to bits, and...
Had this happen to mine, came off a roundabout, booted it up the dual carriageway and the dash lit up like a christmas tree! Never seen a temp gauge rise so quick! I just knocked it into neutral coasted it to the side where it was safe and turned it off. As soon as i did the temp gauge dropped...
Depends which bit has broken. Its in 3 sections i think. One from the lever to the rear footwell area then has a joint and a cable to each rear calliper. The rear sections which i assume it would be or it would do bugger all are circa £25 each and an hours labour to fit. Well thats what it is on...
I've got a Bold 9000 and also use Macs. You can download a copy of Blackberry Desktop Manager for Mac fro their website and it will sync it with your address book, iCal and iTunes etc. Works really well. Had a HTC before but have to say since I've had the BB i'm really impressed with it.
My dad has a warranty with Warranty Direct for my mum's MGF. So far it's had the head gasket and a gearbox rebuild done on it and it's only cost the £50 excess. Its excellent as the MG build quality is a little ropey at times!
I got all 5 of mine done for £30. Admitidly i sandblasted them myself and we have a powdercoat plant on site so the £30 was beer money for the guy who operates it but they came out mint! You'd need a pick axe to chip the paint on them there is that much! They are used to painting guttering mind...

Its the one in Burton Latimer, and i don't think they're on here as I've put it on here before and not got a response. My mate live just down the road and I parked my Silver Ph1 behind it last time i went round and got no response. Miserable owner imo :p
£18 from Renault for mine on my PH1 after it snapped on me on the A45 at rush hour. Needless to say I shall be changing it when I service the car from now on regardless!
When I changed my oil and filter back in March and unplugged mine for access, realised the other day I hadn't plugged it back in. Made no difference as far as I could tell :s
To be honest i stopped listening to him when he tried to tell me my Ph1 had xenons! Errrrr no they aren't! I think he was just bored cos he was stood outside a station all day on traffic duty!
For the record the plates where on it when i brought the car, and are totally standard apart from the...
