Still waiting on my V-MAXXs :( .
Have you got any side on pictures? It's amazing how many people fit new springs/coils and don't take a side on profile. I just want to see how low the rear actually is on its lowest setting.
That seems a good, standard example and for the milage, a good price IMO and a good starting point (being standard) for any modifications you'll be making.
The belts will need doing if the car is over 5 years old and it will be due it's 36,000 mile service come the time so bear this in mind :) .
This is mine, 40mm on Apex springs.

Nothing wrong with the V-MAXX coilovers at all - and they're 'cheap'. If you're on an economy drive and want to go low try some custom springs.

I read it because I wanted to see who was foolish enough to buy such terrible springs.
That aside, it may be that the spring isn't housed in it's cup properly?
Why is everyone so concerned about that yellow Lotus!?
That's a 'Gullwing' Mercedes 300SL and a 1970 Plymouth Superbird!!
Some of you may have seen this already...

Threads like this piss me off. If you want to know something specific then make that the title of your thread.
Why fit something, have it f**k up your car and THEN start to research what you have just bought?
Good grammar always helps, too.

Fantastic bodyshop. Ask for Paul, tell him that Jonathan with the Flame Red 172 sent you. The work he has done on my car is top notch.
It sounds to me like you've already made your mind up fella'.
Buying a mint valver/paying some TLC and bringing it up to mint condition will serve you well down the line. They're still a real head turner IMO.
:)
Probably because he owns a Cup and spent a little money on some new mounts and bushes etc  .

I bought a K-Tec Stealth from eBay. Fitted it, things started to rattle, figured it was the extra 'boom' and size of the exhaust over the OEM item causing the heatshild to rattle. Got it on the ramps, had a knock around with the KwickFit man - centre section baffles were fooked :( .
Needless...
Good work. Needs tidying up a bit though I think. Loose the tints, colour code the side strips and paint the brake calipers and the wheel diamonds the same colour...
