Alloys will be covered under warranty if it is corrosion, i have a few friends who have had alloys replaced under warranty due to corrosion and poor laquer deteration.
i think there is a grommit under the glovebox that can be removed buddy... then you need to force the cable through.. try using a wire coathanger for guidance.
as long as you get the green light to flash on the right hand side of the dash panel, then your ragging it right...
if not, keep your foot down a bit longer lol!!!
and remember they remap to 270, the clio goes to say 190-192 (correct me if i'm wrong) on a standard car with remap..
now that would be a good wee race eh??
oh oh .... not another one.... at the end of the day the are both nice cars relativley quick, more so the clio in the bends, but i'm sure the meggy 225 in the right hands would give the clio a good go throughout the twisities, bearing in mind it has the cup pack fitted..
The 182 needs a ET45 offset, lowering a 182 far too much on ET37 causes lottsa rubbin.. ask leeds_182 he had a 182 on coilovers, lowered onto pro race 1.2's which were ET37, and he had nothin but some lovley rubbin!!
Renault have known about this problem since the begining... i had one of the very first mk2 clio's and noticed it right away..
some are worse than others, where the light stays on constantly, the fix is to place a wee stopper on the inside of the glovelid, to compensate for the twist.. other...
