Well if i had extra cash, Id be tempted to get a cheap mini, strip the sh*t out of it, cage and bucket it and drop in a 1340 minisport engine with big twin carbs, straight cut gearbox and all the other gubbings. 13 inch minilites and uprate to disc brakes, Perfect and all for a resonable sum.
No, Its two weeks ban from driving in Belgium only. Cant ban me from driving anywhere else in Europe, or make me re-take my test, as I have a UK license.
I agree a little, theres a chance every car will burst into flames, just like your TV or washine machine can, but you dont keep those outside!!
My car sets on fire, perfect, Ill have a 182 with cup pack please.
Its on Thelwal lane, latchford, if that helps!! Not in the centre though, big smelly place that makes leather for car seats :):) Ill be staying in town though, so Ill keep my eyes peeled.
Its in for its 60,000km service, not bad for 15 months :) What will they, should they change? They gave me a brand spanking new billabong with just 10 ks on the clock, nice little car.
I used to run the my polo gti through the car wash, but it was a company car and It had been crashed twice by me, and broken into by scroats, so the shine had been taken off it, hence i didnt give a sh*t. I dont have access to manual washing, I use jet wash and jet brush thingys, but always run...
Well, Ive done 30,000+ in a year in mine, and its comfortable enough, equipment wise its got everything you need, and more than most. Performance is great, not as much fun to drive as our kids old willy 3, or my old valver, not quite the same personality, you get with older cars, but still best...
The other week, I changed the indicators for Silvervison after seeing the ones done on here, look mint, but I ordered them from Powerbulbs, and they threw in a pack of blue vison bulbs, What are they for? Not got a clue, are they for the side indicators??
Sidewall flex, yeah it does feel like they are moving around a bit, that explains it.Thanks. No say in the tyres though lease company has the final say, and its usually cheapest first. :(
I had two new ones put on last week, to match the two that were on the back, had bald contis on the front :) I think there a bit jelly like, dont seem to be as solid as the contis but the tread pattern is thinner/different, I think thats why they feel a different, sh*t hot in the rain though...
Does anyone know where I can get some really nice mats to grace my 2003 172?? The ones supplied by renault have turned up, like a sandwich thats been sat in the sun for 2 days. :)
172 wheels are a knightmare, theres no tyre at all between wheel and kerb, its like breaking the mystique and farting in front of your G/F, once its done things arent quite the same, so I try not to do either :):) my "mystique" is in tact, so far.
The moment I look down to try and see the piddly little light, I usually end up almost hitting the back of something, they should change it for an audible warning, something like " GO ONNNNN!!!! " Then itd be like having an eager mate sat next to ya!! :)
Bit far for any scotsman, Glasgow- Edinburgh is wot 35-40 miles at lets say 50mpg thatll be the best part of 6 quids worth of juice, thats a 6 pack of Tennants export, and a deep fried pizza!!!!:o
Ouch!!! Sorry 2 hear that fella, Ive managed not to damage my standard 172 wheels touch wood for over a year, downside is parking like a women a foot from the kerb though!! The graphite, should hide the damage though i would of thought, itll only go graphite again when its full of brake dust...
