mine was exactly the same its the cable tried a bit of WD40 on it still the same,took it back to reno and they oiled it,they said if it happens again we'll fit a new cable. 2 weeks later came back so booked it in to have a new cable under warranty,seems ok now. AS HE TOUCHES WOOD :D

i'm torn between nimbus and albi,yes i agree nimbus is low maintenance but blue looks awesome.

thought about having mine welded but decided to buy a new one from reno £290 fitted,which i think is very steep but now i have piece of mind that it is ok,some people might say you get just as much satisfaction from having it welded but it is down to personal preference. jay

my first couple of cars i kept them about 2 yrs,but since i've gone onto renos its been a different story :D my silver 96 valver ive had her for 8 years and in no hurry to get rid of her,and my clio cup ive had her nearly 3 years now and is like new so shes going no where.

hi mate both of my keys went exactly the same way took them to reno and they said they were fooked,i had to have both keys re-programmed or something like that and they still said it might not work (not cheap),one worked for a bit then went again. reno said i might need to have new keys made...

have ordered a new column through reno and they are saying the part is on back order and dont know when the part will arrive,:mad: has anyone else been told this or have a time length on how long it takes to arrive.dont really want to have it welded want to do it right. one more thing is it...
