Poor mpg could mean you need a new lambda. Engine-dynamics in kelvedon specialise in renaults and can do a map(generic) for about £160.

Looks like you can use the std alternator from air con equipped models.
Whats the cup setup usually cost?
Quick one Fred, does the tensioner spring need changing, i assume over time that must loose its springy-ness.
I had the issue of not being able to undo the top spring male torx so left that and just replaced the metal/roller it attaches too.
I am wondering if its easier to remove the top aux...
