Not that I can see. The ECU isn't locked either. I think I have to go through the clip settings and figure out what is still on or off with regards the airbag stuff. It used to have different seats and wheel but the trendlines are back in as is steering wheel, albeit put in with the angle sensor...
Thanks, yea I read that thread. It could be a different airbag ECU but even so clip can modify the config to whatever setup I need. I am struggling to find what is on the trophy or not. The last 182 seemed different.
The plugs under the seat are disconnected and switched off in clip. The driver airbag is not wired in and also switched off. Not sure about the passenger airbag wiring, but I turned it off in Clip too....
So, winter has hit hard here and its non stop rain and hard wind so I've not done tons.
I removed the cigarette lighter and put in a voltmeter with USB charger instead:

It's nifty! I could see there was an alternator issue and this helped me trace the issue to a worn...
Forget it, think I accidentally fixed it. I did everything right but I needed to let the car switch off completely and remove the CLIP and then start the car...seems fine now...*fingers crossed*.
So I found resistors on the drivers airbag where there is now a sparco wheel, and under the passenger seat and the drivers seat. None of the seat plugs were plugged into anything except two power cables to feed the RX8 seat that was installed. When I cut this to take the seat out the airbag...
The clocks are easy BUT it can be fiddly because the part that goes into the speedo clocks needs to be pressed quite hard to release it. I find small children are good for this part.. While you are back behind the dials, you can replace those pesky little bulbs that have blown too :)
The MK1's...
As said, air leak or speedo cable issue. The earth is quite easy to sort after you get the top part of the dash off and clocks out. I did it with my Williams years ago.
Do check for air leaks though first. Get it idling again at 1500 and pop the ISCV feed off the airbox and block it with the...
So, more stuff :)
The ABS rings arrived and after popping the new CV boot on and clamping it in place I got the new ring on, quite easy actually. It came with some special fluid that helps stop the ring coming off, of which there is very little chance trust me!

Minor Update:
Whilst I await the arrival of more parts I decided to crack on with the lovely job of replacing the front CV boots.

I've done boots before but only with the driveshaft and CV joint off the car. This time I used a cone fitting tool. It was quite easy having...
Small update. I popped the regulator out of the alternator, with it in situ.

The brushes don't seem to be the issue, which is a shame as that is the cheapest and easiest option, however, I may just get another regulator and try it as the top stem connector thingy looked...
Small update.
I managed to get the sealing nut on the fuel tank after heating it up, BUUUT...today I filled it to the brim again as I made the long journey in terrible weather conditions to a Clio day at Surrey Rolling Road. There is still a slight issue with sealing the fuel tank as it leaked...
Hello. I've seen a few cars with the much nicer looking gloss black plastics for the door handles and other controls on the 182's. Is this an off-the-shelf option or does one need to do it oneself?
The crappy peeling and easily scratched soft rubber on the OEM stuff is looking grim now.
Thanks...
So, since owning the car there has been an issue with it stalling. The seller of the car mentioned it to me and had had a garage try and figure it out, to no avail.
I noticed it generally got worse when hot and on bends, and with heavy standstill use of the power steering.
I assumed at first...
Track day rubber on 2118's.

New 225 Meg injectors. I'll send the old ones off for cleaning.

Power steering pressure sensor has an intermittent issue. Sometimes stalls when at low rpm and hard on the steering. New one on the way.
