There are plenty 172s around for under 4k in good condition with belts done etc, you just need to be willing to travel.
IMO although biased, I think the Cup looks a bit more special and you tend to see less about.
Somebody on here a few years back, had a dark blue valver that was fully colour coded with black turinis and a rollcage.
Can't remeber who that was, but that was sweeeeeet!
It will definately be going lower, but no coilies as this is my daily driver, plus I am not exactly flush :(
Well I think I will look at removing the mud flaps tomorrow and see how it sits.
Bit random this, but has anyone got any videos of a Cup going round Oultun park, I have been...
So what are peoples opinions on the mud flaps, should they stay? Don't think they look too gash IMO.

Hello all, I am pretty new to this forum so thought I would share some pictures of my recently accquired 172 Cup.
I had been searching for one for a few months and last weekend found this one, bought from another cliosport member. I am absolutely made up with it, i am aware it is no supercar...
Absolutely cracking thread this, some of those pictures are making me very jealous :dapprove:
Well done for getting through that Applecross unscathed, as they looked like some very rough and testing roads.
Hahaha £150!
How do they get away with that, I could understand if it was of a decent quality, but clearly it won't be.
Really want to improve the interior, but want to keep it factory looking.
I have used the search function, before I get any abuse.
Just wondering if the gearbox gaiter/fascia etc on a Vee is a straight swap on 172 cup?
Also I'm guessing this won't be easy to get hold of, has anybody done this at all?
Thanks all
Matt
The inlet sounds like a good mod to do, will do some re-search on that one.
Just paid my membership fee, now it's time to get my RS!
Thanks for everyones feedback and advice.
Thanks for the welcome cupwizard.
I really like a raw driving experience, but I don't think the girlfriend does :( Looks like I will have to put up with the moaning, or shut her up with a bit of lift off oversteer!
So just to summarise, the only real difference is the manifold and cat? Do...
