There are wires under your seats. fiddle with them and the light should go off - unless it's been in an impact. It's a common fault, and the Renault fix is to solder the wires together and remove the connector blocks.

I'd just buy a seatbelt plug thing off ebay/scrappy and stick that in there when you're at work to shut it up.

I threw mine on when changing my steering wheel, as it needs to be dead center in relation to where the wheels are pointing, if it isn't it throws up an error.

Either need a new sensor or it needs re calibrating via Clip. Not that expensive really.
