All actuators are adjustable but whats the point when a boost controller is a million times easier to use!
The bosch pump is the same as the 306 pump so its stuff you never forget! Could even get 11mm transit internals fitted for even more craziness! Thats for when the holset gets slapped on!
Btcc use 11mm ply and stick it out about 6inch, no big budget needed for that!
Im going to be buying one of the cm splitters eventually, they do work.
What else can you do on a clio for 140quid to improve it? Not a lot. Lose weight is free, decent suspension is expensive, engine work is...
Turn the wheel at 100mph. It reduces lift, it has to be set far enough out to make it work. My point is you just cant say it doesnt work, thats moronic! Set it right and it works brilliantly
Ha ha, i also have an engineering degree and worked in motorsport aswel as turbine engineering etc. You come out with some stupid statements sometimes!
Have you looked into this kind of thing on race cars? Btcc cars? They do it will 11mm ply wood. They think it works, iv done some testing on...
Yeah run it as is, no intercooler at the moment, no real need for one on this turbo at that power. The turbo isnt working very hard at 2bar of boost so itl be fine. When the manual box goes on i will put a cooler on just to look cool!
I dont understand how it can look abused? Every single one of my cars gets death everytime i get in them but i wash n polish them. Would you say mine look abused? No.
So why does it look abused?
Go on, how is it obviously abused?
Have you seen the car in the flesh? Have you seen how straight the bodywork is? Hove you seen how many cobwebs and leaves there are around the car due to not being used?
No, so how can you make comments like that. I bet its cleaner than most modern cars
Cheers jim!
I picked the car up from gatemouth in scotland with the dolly as it had an oil cooler/warmer problem. The car started as an n/a. The plan was to turbo the n/a to around 300whp.
Got it built and it lasted 15mins if that! 2 bent conrods.
Time for a new engine! Full turbo motor that...
Such a lovely car jim but i do think its either the master cylinder or slave cylinder that isnt letting the fluid return and holding the clutch slightly. Dont forget to tell him to check.
Didnt the guy say it had had a slave on it recently for some reason? Could be the same problem. Master...
No still the original internals! The engine has never been opened up!! Yeah they are a bit floaty, still feels a bit top heavy but il sort it!
Excuse my ignorance but who are you? Paddy?
