i stuck a diagnostic kit on it and it just turned all the lights that were on off,must of been cause of the change of air flow? got the box back on for now and im going to order a one of those oil breathers in a minute

the box and the pipe thats attached to the air box that goes to by the grill where the air gets sucked,heres a picture of my set up.

My firends seems to thins its because of theres more air than normal going in,im going to see if i can get a diagnostic kit on it but im out of money atm

i put the old one back on and made sure everything was connected tidy,going to see if i can get a diagnostic kit on it but im out of money to go to a garage at the moment

hey guys just wondering has anyone put a cone air filter on a mk3 clio? as i put one on and run into a few problems that include the engine management light,service light and its also displaying 'check emissions'. and if you have got a after market air filter on what did you put on the oil...

still havent got it sorted,cant seem to find a oil breather filter thing,and been told i can only get it from renault as the ones from ebay etc wont work.

yea im going to stick the old box filter back on then go have a look in a few of the car part shops by me for a breather

that small pipe is the oil breather,ive been told to get a oil breather filter for it,so ill put the old one back on while i pop to a few shops to see if they have them

The standard filter was a box and then there was a pipe going from the front grill to the box and then the other pipe that's to the left of the new filter plugged in to

ive never had a problem besides this! my friend seems to think its cause theres more air going to it?

nope the flex pipe has nothing on it,i thought it was for if you want to have the air filter somewhere else. I need to find out what the pipe is to see if thats the problem,but i need to get to the problem if there is one

heres a picture of the setup and the dash. theres a pipe that was connected to the air filter that's still there i thought it was just for sucking in air or some over flow or something! but if you look at the picture its to the left of the air filter. i also had a flex pipe with it but didnt...
