hi, basically when i turn my williams on the revs will sit at up over 1000 for a couple of minutes, then it drops right down and chugs chugs chugs before shooting up tbuger all :o over 1000 then it does the same chug chug chug as if its gonny cut out, when its chugging its taking alot of air...

it hardly moves now, and if i tap the plastic where the dial is it moves very very slowly, simple or pain in the bum to fix?

i wont be replacing it as yet, just cleaning it, do i still have to disconnect?

thanks for the help ;) its now booked in and i got the cable from reno (to be sure its the right one) for 16 quid + VAT and the garage im taking it to is doing it for 25 quid, nice one!

no aa for me im afraid, my mates dad is a mechanic and he said he wouldnt even do it cos its a total b**ch to do? id prob need to take it to reno, fukc that! ill phone my local garage today its only just up the road, how much would a garage take to supply and fit roughly? thanks for the help
