Fit was good. UB will make sure it's all measured up before welding. Not doing the strut tops, no. Have you persuaded UB to do yours? I'd be surprised if he's agreed to do that!

Pretty relaxed to be honest, we're building to meet blue book regs (which is a tdt requirement) so we keep options open on where to run the car.Other than basic safety equipment, and only using tyres from MSA lists - pretty much anything goes within the bhp/tonne classes

It's quite appropriate - for years now each time I pass under the gantry at the end of a lap of the Ring I've 'High Fived' anyone else in the car - so when I saw that plate I decided to treat meself :)

I notice this feeling most when tyres are coming to the end of their useful life.

I don't think the picture does it justice! But I see what you mean. The lads did a beam mod to lower the mounting platform so it still has plenty of travel at the rear. Plus there's still rake down to the front (although it doesn't look like it in this pic!)
