It's frightening in general how much attention people give, to the only thing connecting their vehicle to the surface it travels on. You don't have to look very far in a car park to find a car whose tyres are cracking, and perished. I'm not sure how far tyres are tested as part of an MOT...

Few shots from my recent Spa / Ring trip. Absolutely loved it, 1200 miles and the car didn’t miss a beat. Brakes were juddery and the starter motor didn’t like being hot, but apart from that...

Getting a DTI on everything this weekend, then we’ll see. The car isn’t super heavy, and the workload is no more than these huge Alcons should be able to comfortably do lap after lap.

The brakes are a big pile of disappointment tbh. I put a 6-pot Alcon kit on the week before Spa too.

Warped the semi floaters, yeah. Pads are XP8 which can actually cope with the heat.

It’s actually a completely different bumper, the splitter is bolted and self tapped into the bumper and bolted to the engine brace underneath — Only tested to 90mph, though! The fog holes are now brake ducts, with some nice direct airflow... Last chance for this brake setup before I go...
