for your information, a car that has been vandalised by a simple act of "keying" to an extent to that the re-spray is rather expensive could be enough to deem a car cat d.
doesnt have to have been in a smash to the extent that the car is half its original size.

i bought it without an hpi check, as i took the guy to be trustworthy. also i never even asked if it was cat d or the like so in trading it in i paid a price.
however, i never had one problem with it. all work...
aye yeah i know what it is, it is just a pain to remove them as i aint too gifted with a spanner when it comes to brakes. and to get a garage to do it involves more cost. was just looking for a spray on or paint on type application.
looking to get my calipers at the front painted in inferno on the 225.
can get the paint but it aint high temp.
does anyone know where i can get custom made high temp paint mixed up for me?

the blue tape that a lot of detailers use to mask up trim, why/what purpose does it serve over ordinary masking tape?

lol, yeah, did wonders for the tar on the bumbers so thought it would do same for exhaust lol.

used the p21s on the cup, and gave the meg a coat of it yesterday but didnt shine like the cup used to.
any other alternatives recommended?
picked up the 225 on saturday (thanks to dan at sj cook, bristol (superfastdan))
spent a few hours cleaning it yesterday, and tried EVERYTHING on the exhaust autosol, autoglym metal polish, wire brush, steel wool.
is better than when i started but could be better.
any ideas? or just keep...
like whats been said above, you do require the tools, but a decent mechanic, should already have them or being to get hold of/manufacture themselves. dont think that renault have the monopoly by having the tools, coz they aint the only ones to have them. my local garage did mine for me last month.
