wanted to go down to jct 9, but saw the traffic, so went along the a20. I do love the way the rb and stripes stand out, but it sometimes gets unwanted attention from the locals:( A meet would be cool, in the next couple of weeks? Where is this bridge under the euro with graffiti?

i'm the rb with stripes at the cow roundabout, where were you? I havent seen the silver 182 with the c18 two number plate for ages. Cant do a meet tonight but would be up for one next week or the following week.:)

hello imperial04, that was me, just posted on renaultsport in the spotted section for the artic blue 182. Felt sorry for you stuck in that traffic, was all the way back to ashford :( I love the look of the blue 182 with the dark wheels cos they stand out among all those cars.

I spotted the black 172 with chrome alloys and private plate on thurs, looked very mint, i was in the stripey 182

when i test drove my 182, i didnt think much of the performance, but chose to buy it on looks and colour alone. Then when i got more miles on it i fell in love with the performance and the handling and the fact it feels quite raw for a newish car

maybe cos they are going for the 197 cup or r26? A great selection of trophys there, would love to buy one but probably try and get a r26 instead:)

is it a 182 or 172?

fitted these into my clio a month ago, they are great.

i went for brembo max disc with ferodo ds2500 pads and braided hoses, they are fanastic and when warmed up they brake very well, much better than standard:)

they look very nice warren4, very comfortable by the looks of it, and much cheaper, probably worth going for

thats is true the recaros dont sit that much lower than the standard seats unless you modify the subframe, but i went for the recaros for comfort, the fact they are much, much better than the standard seats and that they have a standard look about them in renault sports, so they dont look out of...

it does work out expensive, by the time you add the seats, subframe, resistor kit for the airbags(side airbags on the seats if you have on the cup). But it is probably the best mod i ever done to my clio.:)

if you want to buy a set of recaros which i truley recommend then i would go for a set of trendlines which were a option on 182 ff and cup and were standard on trophys. They are expensive but worth it, try this for ideas and for fittings...

you should able to keep the oe seatbelt, depends on the bucket seats.

saw the two cup seperated by the trophy, they both looked mint and tastfully modified

there was some nice cars there, were told we had to move on, so done a little covoy with the orange st, ly and silver r26, blue and black 197s and striped 182, then parked up in the next level and watched the footy. Was a good turnout :)

i fitted the pretensioners cover from the trophy, but my seats are the recaro trendlines, but i dont think it matters, it will still fit. Used recaro subframe but the orignal runners and the oe seatbelts, only prob is that they rub on the suede part of the seats:(

was a quick st, when i followed him it sounded the n@ts, the colour was abit over the top and common, liked the ly r26 though

why dont you try ringing someone like gdi or ktec and ask them what the problem could be, they specialise in clio sports so may able to give you advice? Gdi have always been helpful given advice down the phone to me

recaros should have been standard in evey cliosport made, they look fanastic

it does need a good clean, waiting for a dry day then gonna clean inside and out and wont stop till it is sparkling:cool:

£750, they are great, they hold you well and really comforty

I bought some recaros a couple of weeks ago for my ff 182. The resistor kit arrived this morning so i fitted them today. Photos are not great and it was raining as well. Will take some more pics when i clean inside and out of my car. A thankyou to 197 gaz and SBV116...

the best seats to buy could be the recaro trendlines because that what renault were offering as a option on the 182 ff and cups. Also were standard in the trophy and i believe the megane r26 leaves the factory with them as well. You can use the seatbelts with them as well and they do look good

get a set of recaros, they are great, just bought a set and i love them
