if i keep the standard dynamique seats (which i think r good enough!), can i put racing harness on the drivers side only? dont want them to go thru the rear seats tho, as thats a bit impractical! all i want essentially is the stanadard one to lock in place when i want it to... is that possible?

yeh, u cant beat cardiff- llandudno all on the A470 and i know a few sneaky shortcuts which are GREAT fun! my best time (coming home from llandudno to cardiff) is 3h 25min, which i thought was great for a 1.4 8v 306. dad did it in 2h 55min his previous T5 :confused: which is amazin...

ive been driving my car sensibly recently (to cut fuel costs), like a taxi driver, going everywhere in 5th! in 30zones i just take it to 32mph and then she goes in 5th! i managed to do m4 jct 33 to jct 4 all in 5th gear without flooring it once on saturday! i was so proud of myself!

id go mental if someone cleaned my car without my consent! watched my mate drop my chamois leather on my driveway then pick it up to use on his car- made me cringe so much that i sed he cud keep it! no doubt the pikey car-washers wud wash ure car and scratch it to sh*t!

wot happens if u go to a garage that doesnt have optimax? wots more, u do realise that the cars computer just remaps itself to wotever fuel u put in...? fair enough, on earlier clios, like valvers, it mite make a diff coz they dont have such sophisticated comps, but noway on the 172s...

personally id go for a 1.4 insurance group is alot lower and the car isnt really that much slower... that sed, i wish i had a 1.6, but daddy wudnt pay for the extra insurance.

yes thats true, to achieve very fast acceleration u need a really efficent engine and one that spits the fumes out the back ASAP! therefore making it noise/difficult traction wise... hey, i know wot u guys want- a quad. their nuts, every gear u put it in u go to its max revs instantly, feels...

glad its all gettin sorted.. btw, if ure gettin new seats, see if u can get a bucket put in the drivers side ;)

id have a car with 6 gears, 5 of them wud take the car up to 90ish (bouncing off the limiter in 5th) then 6th wud be a HUGE cog and the car wud b limited to 100mph, but only be pulling some crazy low revs like 3000rpm (the 330i (auto) does 93mph at 3000rpm in 5th... so u can see y its got such...

alrite mate. right, uve got lots of options for the airfilter... first thing... increases bhp or noise or both? (the latter being more expensive!) For bhp, u want a closed kit so that no hot air gets dragged into the engine. Something like a IK kit ect. For noise, u want a K&N as they...
