hmm i dont see the problem with young people driving fast cars as im insuring a 172 at 18. the thing is £4700 for insurance?!?!? are you mad lol.......i will be paying £2200 for my insurance at 18 which really is bad enough. Good on you mate for buying one but check around for insurance first...

its only under fast acceleration from low revs, it jumps back and then carrys on like normal. Its more noticable than my 1.2 in all honesty but as ive said the engine has only done 400 miles since ive put it in so may go back to check all mounts :) /carl

aye theres 3 mounts in total though, just dunno which one may be to blame

Hi, first time ive driven my 172 since engine transplant today. There is a little bit of movement when accelerating with the engine. Its normall low down revs, when you plant your foot the engine and box jump forward. Which mount needs adjusting to solve this? /carl

removing my wheel from my 172 today, put it back on incorrectly and now it has pulled the coil up wire out of where it was connected too. The airbag light and serv now appears when starting the car. If i replace this bit will the airbag light disappear or has it saved to the ECU or airbag...
