We went for three days last year, by contrast I ignored most of the stalls and a lot of the new stuff and enjoyed watching the historic hillclimbing and the older formula cars etc in the paddock. Well worth the effort to go, but will likely leave it a couple of years before I go again to allow...
It's funny going back from a diesel, I had a petrol again for a short while and it wasnt the cost that wrankled as much as having to stop every 270 miles for fuel!
42MPG is about where mine sits on a run and mixed use I see 38, but I'm rarely in stop start traffic
I had the same, pretty sure I levered it out far enough to get it over the end of the stud. JUst check what its catching on little by little until you get it down far enough.
The main thing wrong with the car is you bought the wrong one. Who the f**k buys a turbo diesel for an 8 mile journey from cold in traffic 😂
That said, it's still 20% or more down from where I'd expect, suggesting its taking an age to get warm, or your 'tuning box' is just bore...
Thing is, the basic engine wont be much bigger than any other, that's half a car.

Does anyone use the 197/megane seats on track? Are they supportive enough?
Looking at using some for another project ( 3 door and need rear access so cant go full buckets) but its a lot of money if they're not similarly supportive.
Cheers
Yeah agreed! I'm happy to leave the money in BTC and see where its ends up in 6-12 months, it's just funny and frustrating in equal measure to have missed two opportunities to be massively up!
Registered on Coinbase on the 28th November, bought mixed BTC and LTC, both declined. Called bank and credit card provider (tried both) to no avail. Forgot about it for a bit.
Linked my bank account on the 6th December as BTC was shooting up, made a transfer, from which I paid fees, took 36...
I wanted all the running gear for a project so bought it, did 1500 miles in it in two weeks and then took it to bits.
That said, I'd definitely have another, sitting over the back axle, LSD and a nice straight 6 petrol made it hard not to be a hooligan ALL the time.
TBH, having just had a soft top for the first time in November, its quite nice even when it's chilly, modern cars dont really suffer buffeting and the heater and heated seats mean its not uncomfortable
