Edit - Though ultimately... if I can't I can't. Those are just what I'd like in the future for my perfect clio. :)
Yeah defo. I seem to get a lot of varying results everywhere.
Am planning on phoning a few places tomorrow but not sure who would be best. I'll phone Flux for sure but I'm after someone who will be cheap and won't be trouble with small mods later on. Any suggestions?
Ps. Flux quoted me over 6...
Insurance quotes from Adrian Flux (online not on phone)
1.4 petrol - £1489
1.5 diesel - £2625
I think it may work out cheaper for me to get a petrol car... Are these differences in quotes normal? Should sort of difference should I expect to pay?
I've been in cars where the mats don't go right up under the pedals and they bloody annoy me! Get your heel stuck behind them and it makes driving very difficult (and dangerous!).
Don't have my Clio yet, but likely just use whatever it comes with. :P
Right, well that was simple.
Every aspect of owning a diesel ticks the boxes. :)
Will be phoning around tomorrow for quotes which, by the sounds of it, will be pretty damn good.
Thanks everyone.
Getting closer to choosing the car I want but can't decided whether I should go petrol or diesel. I'm after a mk2 ph2 either 1.4 petrol or 1.5 diesel.
Still waiting for insurance quotes which will play a huge part in my decision, but was wondering what other people would recommend?
I have...
My brothers car does this (the one I'm learning in). Often it won't cancel so I go to cancel it and it's the opposite.
And yes, I definately indicated the correct way. :P
That looks really nice. May be a stupid question, but does it play CD direct through the HU or do you need a changer plugged in? Doesn't seem to have a slot or button to flip down...
Since installing asblock plus I've not seen a single advert. As far as I was aware noscript just gives you the option to turn of javascript as and when.
I used to use google browser sync but have foxmarks installed at work as a backup (not to sync home.. used to)
Thanks. Your "tasteful mods" are exactly what I want to do.
I'm now looking at 1.4's as almost everyone has said it.
Really, thanks for all the advise.
Oops yeah insurance prices.
I haven't priced up anything other than car and insurance.. just one of those "lets do that" things without thinking really..
Already I'm convinced that a 1.2 IS the best option.
Direct Line want £2,109.45
Looking to buy my first car in 3 weeks time and for a long time I've decided a mk2 Clio is the car to get, but not sure which model to choose.
The local Renault dealers near me keep getting 1.2 Dynamiques in stock which is what I'm leaning towards, but out of curiosity I done some quick quotes...
