I think the general consensus with coilovers is you get what you pay for. For me your v6 is mint. You've spent x amount on pole positions and all the other little bits you've got, don't go skimping on the suspension!
I paid £1800 I think for my 182 when I was 19. Speaking from experience I don't think i'd do it again.
Don't get me wrong, I loved the car and I don't regret doing it one bit, but I wish i'd have saved my money and got one a bit later on.

Dealer will refer you to RUK CS anyway I reckon, so just call them direct. Explain your situation and see what they suggest. Chances are they will offer a contribution towards the repair. I don't think you've got a chance of getting it all done FOC as it is a used car out of warranty.
