I'M BACK!!! With this beauty (dimma content)

Good God. I'd rather have the Vectra in the background. That looks rank.... 😊

    Two tone bad manz Clio.

Hmmm - the reg isn't right. I'm sure that's too new for Lusty?

    Aux in!!!

If it's anything like the 182, it's a piece of piss to do. I bought my kit from Matt at MT Audio from here - while included an aux cable and a converter box. Literally two-prong stereo adapters kebab the dashboard to eject the head-unit. The aux cable socket is unique - so you can't physically...

That isn't the LustyMobile back from the dead, is it?!?!?

Immaculate 172 Cup at Snetterton, Sun 15th May

Definite credit to you m8 - it's really nice to see examples that are virtually factory fresh. Your wife must be a very patient person? Or maybe she's just as committed as you in keep the Cup minty fresh?! :)

I'M BACK!!! With this beauty (dimma content)

I'm normally of fan of decent bodykits. I love spoilers and even mudflaps on cars. When done tastefully, they all combine to make the car look epic. The image that comes to my mind is a well fettled, previous-gen Focus RS...... in green. However, I can't for the life of me see the appeal in the...

    £150k for a Vauxhall Cavalier?

I could be tempted..... ;) http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1995-BTCC-British-Touring-Car-Championship-winning-Vauxhall-Cavalier-Cleland-4-/291749677963?hash=item43eda2cb8b:g:iq4AAOSwiYFXIOZD Not quite sure how you'd go about servicing it though?

Immaculate 172 Cup at Snetterton, Sun 15th May

Looks tall? Is there that much arch clearance at the front with unmolested Cups?

    Doom!

Bought it - though there's no way my internet connection is easily going to cope with a circa 52GB download! I'll download it via work overnight, I reckon!

    Doom!

Andy's running 980Ti's - though I don't know if he's running then in SLi or just a single card. Does look bloody good. I'm hoping that it's simply a mindless blaster. The Serious Sam series was the last I recall that did that well.

    Ph1 Turbo winter project

See - that's where I'm going wrong. The last college work I did centred around the project management implementation of a company-wide time & attendance system. Not a hint of turbo or even Clio was mentioned...... :( Forgive my ignorance (and it's probably been mentioned loads of times) - but...

Using my 172 as a removal vehicle ...tyre pressures

Factor in the heat as well. If you're travelling at speed for a considerable distance - and with this time of year, your tyres will get hot. Too much heat in a tyre already under high pressure load will likely to go pop.

    Scored discs use or replace?

Personally, I'd be ordering a new set from George (@George@RTR_Parts). Apart from looking a bit naff, brakes (along with tyres) are one area that I don't cut corners on - especially when past their best. Yes, it's a pisser that they have done little distance compared to the cost - but I'd be...

    Dawn of War III

Chaps - not sure if you're aware, but if you're used to the console, TV and sofa setup - there's a brilliant device for the PC called Steam Link http://store.steampowered.com/app/353380/ It's a small device - less than a DVD case in size and sits between your TV and router. Use it to connect a...

    steering wheel wobble above 60mph

Thread bump. Worth commenting on here just for anyone else in the same boat. Mine did the same - in particular between 50-70mph saw the steering wheel rapidly wobble side-to-side. Luckily, I'd recently bought a set of Turinis over my OEM alloys and even with new tyres - the wobble was still...

    Rapid 'clicking' from steering?

It was the driveshafts - got them replaced and the clicking went away. Saw the spline section of the shafts themselves - definitely past their best!

The Gaming Thread (General Gaming Jibba Jabba)

I remember back in the days of the PS1 - I wandered into GAME one morning and noticed they were stocking the shelves with the reissued Final Fantasy 7 on the Classic label or something. I picked a copy up and started to walk to the counter when a member of staff stopped me. He told me that I...

The Power PC Thread [f*ck off consoles]

I'd expect your price assumptions to be more accurate, Andy. Certainly if they released the cards at there or thereabouts, you could argue it's the going rate for a brand new, high-end gamer graphics card. The question is - where will they go with the Titan spec? In particular, will they add...

    My 2006 S2K

And that...... in a nutshell is why I want one. There is simply nothing comparable to it. It's not been replaced. It has an engine that the current turbo generation believes fell off The Ark and it's totally impractical to any bloke who's put his reproductive loins to good use. It shouldn't...

What are those plastic levers he uses? They seem really useful!

That's a wedge and a half! Hmmm. Might need to reconsider - unless a 1070 is worthy enough in its own right?

The Power PC Thread [f*ck off consoles]

The next gen certainly appeals. Running two of the GTX690s currently, would not only see an improvement (certainly when non-SLi features are supported) - but also reduced clutter within the case itself. I might delay and hold off until the 1080 comes out. Unless of course Andy makes me a decent...

    Gaming mouse and keyboard...

The G13 is great - it's completely replaced my WASD key function and the G6 and G7 buttons are brilliantly placed for thumb presses on alt-fire/melee functions. I picked my up cheap off eBay when the seller said that one of the buttons had packed in. I've had it over two years and all the...

    Gaming mouse and keyboard...

Been using Logitech stuff for years. I've had various mice and keyboards - and now use a three-way split between a G15 keyboard, a G600 mouse and a G13 gameboard. However, Logitech's driver support is one step away from shite. I'm principally aiming towards the G25 wheel support here - where I...

    [PC] Forza Motorsport 6

Sounds interesting m8. I wonder if they have the rear view rendered separately and put a much lower importance on it for the game - hence the frame rate issues when the performance starts to drop. Maybe I can even turn that rear view off in the options? I ran nvinspect with this and GPU0 was...
