Lol! What spec is your Golf? I take it from the vid that it's clearly not N/A?
@MarkCup - good footage there! Is the ST fitted with standard suspension too? Do you find the car more naturally 'balanced' with a passenger onboard, rather than you going out solo?
According to the wiki, I've got to the sixth level - Kadingir Sanctum. I think that's approx. halfway through the game. I'm hoping something just 'clicks' with me and I want to pursue it through to the end.
Again, it was another one of those games that I found a hell of a lot more enjoyable at...
Took a gamble on Starbound as a 2D alternative - only just finding my feet with it, but it 'feels' like it's got plenty of depth...

Fraction of the price, too.
For the first time, DOOM annoyed me today. There are significant balance issues within the game - which don't seem to ally in terms of improvement and game progress.
It's easy for example, to go through the majority (if not all) of your 20 rockets when encountering three of those brute type...
You forgot to add the all-important badge. To some people, the right badge and the right key-fob are worth four-figures per month alone - regardless of many other factors. One member on here posted not long back (apologies, I can't recall who) about how much more his mate's monthly lease was on...
Bloody hell - I thought those things died away years ago! The last time I saw a riser card used with graphics was around 7 or 8 years ago.
Not that it helps, but the consensus on this thread sounds like you're not missing much in the absence of NMS. I think I've convinced myself not to bother...
Has it actually managed to install your 970 yet? There was a big update for Windows 10 back in December (v1511, iirc) that fixed a lot of issues - graphics card support being one of them. I couldn't install my 1080 on a fresh reformat recently until this patch was applied.
Not quite sure what...
Offside rear by any chance? Mine likes to munch on these far more frequently than the nearside.
Was the tapered ring definitely the right way around? :)
Sounds like a bigger issue. The 970 breezes this from people I know who run it with one.
Still the same installed OS? Have you removed the ATi drivers from the previous 7850 install?
Don't forget, the third gen i5's will also have the option to use their own onboard Intel HD graphics. It could...
I'd agree with exactly that. There are quicker and more nimble cars out there. But the V6 strikes me as an engineering/kit project that somehow made it to full blown production. It's quirky, different to the majority of mid and rear-engined cars out there - yet retains a simple level of driver...
Ah. That bad, eh? I had fears that it was going to end like that. I'd much rather play a game from start to finish that properly engrossed me for 3 hours - than one that leads you on before quickly realising that its an empty, hollow experience.
I felt the same with The Division, m8. Firing it...
Hi chaps,
After some advice. We'll be on our honeymoon in about three weeks time (!) and I was after getting a semi-decent point & click camera for when Shelley and I are out and about.
As such - it has to be smallish - ideally something I could have in my pocket, or small bag. I don't want...
From what I've seen, it does strike me as being appealing to a specific type of person. It's certainly not a mainstream game of universal appeal - a COD or GTA game, for example.
The space genre is one that massively appeals to me too. There are many games out there that simply use space as a...
There appeared to be a fair amount of screen pop-in from the video I saw. Personally, I couldn't play it if it was that bad. The occasional item or piece suddenly appearing in the distance, I can cope with. Rolling mid-range details simply appearing out of thin air is a bit much for the eyeballs...
Welcome Dan!
I believe you have to be a paid-up member to post pictures properly - though I could be wrong on that. Otherwise, simply upload the photos to a something well known as Flickr, PhotoBucket, etc and copy and paste the link from their into the window that appears when you click on...
Tried that with the 1080. Looked super slick. Much happiness. Switched it off five minutes later.
One on the list of games to attempt with decent hardware!
Same here. Got at least half a dozen 'stressful' games for the gfx lined up and I'm still on Warframe. Worse, I'm playing Kingdom Rush Frontiers too - which would probably run on a fag packet.
Seems weird that the same issues occur when a cabled Ethernet is made. I'll use a fixed connection wherever and whenever I can - only using wireless when I have no other choice.
Does your router allows QoS policies? No-one has been dicking with that have they, and allowing Steam to have...
Lol - so true about the straight roads. That just go on and on!
But it's the heat that would be an issue for me. The weather over here is doing my head in at work as it is. The week I spent in Dubai was welcomed with 34C at 1.30am. Urgh......
Yeah - they suit it. Really like the contrast between a white car and dark accessories on a car. I really could have gone to town with the VI if money wasn't an issue!
