i c alled O2 today to enquire for a friend, and they said they had N80 in stock ready to send out now. Bloke on phone was a complete c**k though, very rude and just hung up without even saying goodbye. PRICK!

torrent is generally ok. ifyou use torrentspy they have comments on all the torrents so see waht people have said before downloading. some are fake but not many. Just ensure you have pear guardian on, which blocks all government ip addresses, and legal authority ip addresses from scanning...

if you use it a lot especially WIFI then battery is crap. at the end of the day the cars are down to 2 or 3. standby with all power save features on and they claim 7 days though. charging litterally takes about half an hour though fro flat to full charged!

thats a bit 1990's tho, flash is the future of animations and fancy web design. I'm not a big fan tho tbh, but i think little bits and bobs are acceptable :) I hate 100% flash websites!! Cheers for the comments regarding my work too folks!

its definitely there pal! ozzy, no gif files used, just a small 30kb flash file. i've taken it off for the meantime due to some people not having the correct flash player, and iv not put a version checker in the code.

There is a 'skip' button for the impatient ;) Its only a quickie temporary intro, but I quite like something short and sweet to introduce a website. It can be taken off if you prefered Ben.

i reckon auto key lock will happen in a future firmware release. as you know it currently asks you to lock when you close it, but it would be handy no just lock itself. not sure if u can use it as a wireless card tho mate.

rmccardel, nokias have come a long way mate, menu system is pretty quick on the latest phones. altho iv never had a problem with any since really old Nokias. Web browser drops on occasion, have u got the latest firmware? Opera is a good browser for them instead of the Nokia one.

yeah the wifi isnt a strong as a laptop or pc due to power consumption.

depends what you want from a phone. I like my gadgets, tomtom etc etc. Have u updated the firmware? mine isnt slow at all on the latest.

you can still find hidden lans on it if u know how ;) hehe but yeh stealing net connections has good satisfaction lol

broadcast the SSID, add the phone, then stop broadcasting it. you dont want people finding your lan on your street. seems to work better than adding the settings manually!

if you have wifi at home with net access you can use it for anything on the phone that requires a connection. even the operators service menu. the good ting about wifi on the n80 is that it adds them as access points so its just the same as selecting gprs/dialup etc for net/wap access
