i want a system for my 2004 1.4 16v
im prepeared to pay £339 for one from longlife
i want the real thing!
(i only have £270ish now so got a bit to go :cry:)
is it normal for all 4 tyres to loose 2psi of air in one week?
i often drive fast/hard ect but is that ok, or do u think the machine at sainsburys fuel station is messed up?!

i emaild reno b4 i bought and fitted the k&N and asked them to send me an email bout whether or not it was ok and they sed it was ok...so i printed it off and if they try to say NETHING then ive got it in writing! whoo haaa!
that was 1 month afta owning the car!
also, ive fitted spax sus...
i dunno...
the only reason i didnt go for 54mm( which was the next step up from 35mm with spax) is coz all my m8s have only gone as low as 40mm and i didnt want to b loads lower than theirs and have problems.
but there wudnt be ne problems with rubbing, just the roads in cardiff are really...
my m8 just had his 1.4 serviced and he had a bill for the parts used but not the labour (mind u, he needed 3 sparkcoil plug thingys changing!)
also, got charged for new oil, and removale of old oil to make it safe in the environment ect.
some indian guy in milfield was given a porsche for his first car at 17 (daddy was a rich oil merchant)
he rote that 1 off and then had a ferrari at 19 for his 2nd car. the next crash he had killed him and his sister...
just take it easy, but i kno i wudnt!
lol... cud have got a "cup" suspension pack for my 1.4 ...lowering it by 15mm apparently, all for a sum tottal of £300--- think ill stick to the -35mm spax kit!
oh, well no, these ones were definitely the standard 16" 172 alloys... think he ment the suspension pack! PHEW... well at least i was right about the alloys!
lol. :oops: i was under the impression that u cud only get blue ones... but it had the normal 172 alloys. he sed it was a cup, and i sed, where are the alloys/colour? and then i sed, dont u mean cup suspension pack and he was like yeh thats it.

saw this guy in bar risa, cardiff tonite whod parked next to me with an 04 plate 172. hed got it as an import for £12,400 including cup sus, but minus 6-disc changer. (tried telling me it was a cup, but i then asked him y hed resprayed it silver and had normal 172 alloys! hehe)

i dunno... clean16vs 40-100 was v quick.
mind u, were u raggin it from 0-100 and timing it from 60-100? or were u sitting at 60 and then gunning the throttle in 3rd?
coz the latter wud b alot slower.

my 1.4 is quite good at high speed. im not saying its nethin like the 172s but wen ure accelerating hard and turn the wheel the steering gets mega heavy, and it just feels really good.
mind u, the galant stays the same (light has hell) but the 330i has a sports sus and is near perfect...
i went to a place called renowheel in brakla ind. estate, bridgend, wales(nothing to do with renault) and the old guy there was soooo good. showed me a set of alpina alloys that hed refurbed, and still had one to do. cudnt believe that the 4th one was part of the same set, as it was so mullered...

im with zurich international, and i aint declared my lowerd sus or K&n. told my dad to do it but he doesnt seem bothered! well its his fault if it goes tits up!
if uve had "hot" cams fitted then it will sap all ure low down power in compensation for high rev power.
read that in a handout by "AJ6 engineering", a jag-modifying company!
