You didn't take a lot of convicing, considering you offered to start with lol. Silver cambelt cover/rocker cover/alternator brackets. Black strut brace and other brackets I'm feeling. Hopefully Rob agrees, as my taste is king.

Do the cambelt cover when painting stuff, along with the top alternator bracket, and support bar. Can check timing at the same time.

I haven't taken any pictures of the Laguna, the bent towing bar, or the other broken clio... So heres todays progress. Its all be on ventura's Phase1... Left the bonnet up while I was busy doing some other stuff, turned around to see my neighbours cat sat in the engine bay, looking at me like...

I didn't really mean to come across so hard with my first comment. The second part is just in general, I tried to explain to Scott this morning how bloody hard it is to get across how f**king awesome I think it is. And he needs to post more pics, as attention to detail is awesome.

It could also be 52 or 56mm for non-sports. So it is kinda hard to measure accurately. Best thing I can suggest is to pop both nuts off, and measure top of bolt, to top of bolt. You'll need 2x 18mm's (or 21mm's if it is genuinely Sport kitted)

Pretty much what I'd do if it was my own. Cams are already fucked, It'll just loose oil pressure and probably start knocking, then the oil light will come on lol. Impressive anyway, how many miles has it done? Has it been sat for ages or something? Missed loads of oil changes?

You can't just replace the cover, its matched to the head. You'd have to replace the head.

Best thing to do is measure the bolt spacing on yours if its been messed with. That way you can be sure.

That or its dropped a valve. Timing would cause it to be more than one valve.
