Im just wounder is there any side effects from chroming/polishing the plenum/fuel rail guard and engine mounting of a 172? heat? I see alot of people polish the inlet pipes but leave the Renault Sport plaque standard, is this just preference? sorry if this seems stupid lol /carl

Converting the body work on the blue one didnt really cost that much at all and ill probably get abit more money for it as it is rather than standard. Converting my blue one seemed a shame to mess around with the engine when it would be a great first car for someone when i come to sell it...

Na will just transfer all the stuff over from the FF engine, cam belt snapped on the FF engine and dropped a valve and hit a piston as in picture... got all the bits from the engine including inlet manifold etc and pumps.

Nope, top one has got a ph2 Clio 172 Cup engine in it and has only covered 16k miles :D

probably keep the 172 and sell the replica, not sure yet though as im going to uni next year (Northumbria Uni) so i will probably leave it at home and drive it on weekends etc. /carl
