yeah insurance put me off and the fact i dont think it would be sensible running a 2.0ltr in my first year of driving. Looking back on it i wasnt really safe in my first few months in a 1.2 never mind a 2.0ltr :P Another reason is im always up for learning new things so this project will help...

The front and back are front the same car and have the same amount of teeth. ABS computer? :S /carl

Im looking at sorting out the ABS with my conversion would this work? 172 FF ECU 172 FF front hubs etc 172 FF rear axle is that all i need for the ABS to work or is there anything else required thanks carl

its already fit just missing fuel pipes

well atm im just trying to get the engine running in the ph1 to make sure its ok after the compression test. In the end the engine will go in a ph2 1.2 16v.

Looking at trying to get this engine started this weekend the problem is it doesnt actually have any fuel pipes atm. Has anyone got a piping diagram or can give me a quick run through of what goes to where etc? Another thing, is the fuel pump next to the actual fuel tank? thanks for the help...

1. The light stays on constantly 2. Just checked the driveshafts and the 172 cup driveshaft does have ABS rings :S

aye going to check the compression and oil pressure within the next few days, fingers crossed :D

came with the loom and everything, the engine is turning over its just not firing up which is the imoboliser's fault as the light is always on the dash. very pleased with the purchase :D

I am looking at doing an oil pressure test, where is the sender unit and what is the thread into the block? thanks carl
