Spoiler's not to my personal taste - but then I love the wheels :D.
And the front.
I wonder if there will ever be a thread about the 200 on here that doesn't have a "Hate the wheels" or "Hate the nose" post.
Doubt it :rasp:
ps Looks good in all colours
Pretty sure you only have to declare non factory fit extras to insurance anyway - they assume (wrongly sometimes) that factories wont make an ar$e of it ;).
Precaution - check you're own small print - Jasey assumes no responsibilty for Insurance claims turned down through general advice given...
Some hi/low lights of my car ownership;
Teens
Mk3 Cortina (Dad's old car - Free)
Escort 1.6 (Uncle's old company car - bargain)
Triumph Vitesse 2.0 Convertible. (My favourite car - completely unreliable - you never knew what bit would fall off next)
20's
Astra SRi (Best part was the LED...
44 - 200.
Someone said today I was the wrong side of 40 to be driving a Clio 200.
I corrected them to say I was the wrong side of 20 - looks like I was right
Pretty much all cars lose 50% of their "value" in 3 years.
The Clio brand new costs the same amount as the amount of money you lose on most of it's competition (over priced over weight ex-hot hatches ;) - £20k new for a focus ST - or get a 2 year old one for half the price...
Why don't stealers fill the bloody tank up
Even if they charge you for it - You're often in a city you don't know and the first thing you need to do is find a bloody petrol station !
Anyway - hope you enjoyed the drive home - I'm sure you did :D
Ah - remember picking mine up.
Drive from Aberdeenshire to Aylesbury to pick up the car - then I had to drive from Aylesbury to Hull to stay with my Mum.
Following day Hull to Aberdeenshire.
1,200ish mile round trip - but over half of it was in my new 200
Pretty knackered...
That's a dangerous game ;).
Once you've got the £20k it'll be OOh another 5K and I could get a xyz etc etc etc.
You'll end up getting a M5 for £50k when you're too old to enjoy it ;)
How you spend you money is entirely up to you.
£15k could get you a whole lot of different cars - I don't think you're going to be disappointed with your purchase
Once you get your car - take the snobs out for a drive so they can see why you've made your choice :D
There's fcuk all wrong with the STD seats.
If you want to spend £850 so the next registered keeper has nicer seats that's up to you ;).
As for the Cup chassis - again the STD 200 is like a go cart - I reckon the cup chassis will shake you up too much - Guess it depends on the roads you're...
