I actually prefer ph1 interior. White dials, silver trim, alloy gearknob, nicer front seats with coloured logo etc
As for the exterior the ph1 looks soooooo much meaner than the ph2
or you could buy them on ebay for £11

No Idea mate bought it with them already fitted, would have to drive a standard one to compare the difference, as far as i`m aware dont know of anyone else who has Kent cams fitted to theirs,
Yes its common knowledge that gearboxs in all 172/182s are made of dogpoo and if used harshly they last 3-4 days
on a serious note the gearbox is the worst part of the car and a common failure, check that it engages ever gear smoothly with no crunching, 3rd gear syncro is the most common...
the same question has already been asked approx 1.3 billion times so do a search
but generally make sure
1, belts have been done
2, has good service history
3, engine mounts are ok
4, backbox isnt rotten
5, rear wheel bearings are ok
6, gearbox is smooth and doesnt jump out of gear
7, clutch...
I really wouldnt bother yourself worrying, think about it.........the last 4 months have been snow, ice, rain etc.
Also you won`t have sucked up and flys, bees, wasps, dragonflys, humming birds etc as these are only flying around may-october
Just get a filter on asap, theres dust appearing now...
