as i would say im an amateur at keeping my cars paintwork in good health, am just using...
very easy, pop the bonnet open, in each of the corners at the front, just pop the protection cap off the back of the light, and youll see a retaining clip for the bulb, pop that off, and pull the old bulb out, put new one in.
Sorted
i do believe they are H4 fitment.
as for cheapness, i dont know, not really great going for cheap stuff, especially when its something important like that.
Bit like chucking extremely cheap tyres on your wheels, when its the only thing keeping your car safely on the ground :)

They say the best results where seen using both dynamat, and expanding foam, but my mate used just expanding foam, and got rid of the rattles
i reckon is the sensor in the roof console, my mum had this on her pug 306, watched it on the cctv one nite, kept locking and unlocking itself, by morning the battery was virtually dead.
Fix the leak, and clean up the sensor board, and get rid of the green copper deposits, that could be...

lol the guy said "show purposes only".
Besides at idle the flames wouldnt be that big, and if they did burn your bumper, then your too close to his arse end.
Its not like its switched on all the time
u can make these yourself if u get a coil, a sparkplug, and a switch.
I cant see why they are so expensive when you can just source the parts from any scrappie, its not as if the kits are the butane ones, these just ignite the unburnt petrol in the exhaust.
Should look good thou ;)
I used a bolt that clips onto the rear seat, on the nearside.
If u pull the seat up, you should see a big gold coloured bolt, you can undo it with a torx driver.
Just use a bit of sandpaper to take some of the paint and dirt away, and hey presto, good earthing point.
This was an ideal...
i know of alot of young people, my age, that bought the car, then went round finding insurance quotes, only to find out they cant insure it, without it totally breaking the bank.
I say tough to them, its their fault for not looking into it.
Am currently paying 1200 a year on a K reg 1.4...
Pete, do you get the window thats there, but it never opens as such?
If so you need to install Quicktime, and goto custom installation, tick everything, thisll include "Quicktime for Java"
Noticed this when i ran the dialogys.bat file, and it said that one of the Quicktime class files...

Where did u get them terminals mate?
i get around 100 miles to 15 quid, saying that i do have a heavy right foot.
Tax is 65 quid for 6 months.
Insurance for mine is around 100 a month
Other costs such as maintenence bills arent accounted for, thats what i got a credit card for, then pay that off over a few months, so it...
Cupcake, id be willing to do yours 1 day, if you bought the LEDs.
I do alot of surface mount soldering at work, so a few LEDs is no trouble at all.
They do look good, wish it was that easy to change on the mk1 dials
you cant tow the car, as the car is still on the road. you would have to get a carrier or trailor for it.
As for number plate lights, its best to get them put in, as youll only end up in the same position when you have to get it MOTd on an annual basis.
Ive got to wire up some white 3mm...
hmmm, well ill only be getting a 3rd party fire and theft policy with them, so hopefully the engine conversion wont bump it up too high..
When i got my insurance with them, i made them read thru all the mods that id told them. but when they sent the insurance certificate, it didnt have any...
cool, how did liv-vic take it when u tried telling them.
I got an idea theyll tell me where to go, as its a 1.8 turbo engine.
Will be 20 with 1 year NCB, no accidents.
Paying 1200 now, so if im paying 1200 next year, it wouldnt be a shock
Admiral wont touch me, they said anything but the engine conversion and theyd insure me lol.
The engine is only out of a group 9, or 11 car, i cant remember lol
Just wondering to all the people that have had willy/gtt engine transplants, what insurance company you are using, and how much it bumped your premium up.
Ive got an insurance renewal in april, but my car will be offroad for a while before then as im doing an engine conversion.
If you...

yep, they do, any modification, such as alloys, induction kits etc
Anything that changes the car from standard, apart from stereo system, n bits like that
If you were to have a crash without having your mods declared, they can, and prob will void your insurance, meaning your stuck with a...
