Just installed a new server with windowns 2003 SBS rc2. Everything is set up and working including exchange server etc but i'm having a simple problem that i can not get to the bottom of.
The regional settings on the server are all set to UK. The client PC's (xp pro) are all set to UK...

Some people had the same problem and SP2 fixed it thats all i was suggesting (maybe they have updated drivers for the sata in SP2).

sometimes dell's have problems with dual booting machines because of the hidden partitions. As you've not even got that far it sames odd.
No scratchs on your CD? virus protection off in your bios - also...
You can use simple file sharing if you like but your best off using proper NTFS permissions (gets a little more complicated though).

you saying you can't log on locally?
Try logging on in safe mode as administrator - create a local account for your self as a administrator privs.
Then restart - log on locally then go to system properties - computer name and re-add your domain. On you re-boot you should have you drop down box...
i'll have a look at my settings when i get home - i'm sure its just on the default channel - distance is a few rooms away.
You haven't got Mac address filtering on have you?
