Whatever you decided to do keep the mid silencer in there as I found that that made the most difference in noise when I removed it, wish I had kept the mid silencer now as with a decat my stealth is stupidly loud

Take CDA airbox off get a phase 1 172 or v6 airbox on. Decat, and the cheapest of cheapest thing to do is strip it it's free and you save weight. No Renault is cheap to make faster they cost s**t loads to do anything with

To change the 172 cat it's a pain in the arse I just pay a garage to take it off and then mot it, then get them to put it bk on,£10 well spent if you ask me saves me a couple of hours of grazing my hand and swearing at coroded bolts lol. That's what I do anyways

I got that exact exhaust system on my 172 and it's crazy loud, if you dont mind a very loud exhaust and don't do motorway miles it's great

wish i had never got rid of my center section makes it so droney on motorways although decat and removing the midsection makes a crazy noise

The exhaust system is fairly loud but not crazy loud, I have one on mine and it was raspy at the the top end. Only complaint I have is that it's extremely droney on the motorway in 5th gear between 55mph-70+mph. Decat it and it goes ridiculously loud, sounds like a f**king rally car lol
