The fact that video is being encoded in 1920x1080 is the new technology, new because it takes a large amount of processing and disk space/bandwidth. Try getting a computer more than 3 years old to play 1080p video smoothly, not easy!
Cameras being advertised as HD is sometimes referring to the...
If it's the outer boot (and possibly inner) you can get split replacements and you glue together - with them you only really need to take the wheel off for access. Some people hate them but they work well for me...
Well not really - was hoping for peoples opinions of how hard is it to take a 19 year old door off and how much a body shop would charge me to cut it out and put new metal in.
Yeah the only thing I was worried about was the pins, this car has a tendency to shear bolts and other corrosion...
This is what you get if you have to park in Hatfield. Luckily I have an alarm and it went off as soon as they got the door open, so nothing got nicked but I am now left with this to fix up.
How would you guys sort it out - ideally I would like go get a new door as it is getting rusty on the...
Yes, cheers for the pic Gregg!
It's on 170K and pretty much unmodified, apart from the usual decat, exhaust and ITG filter :) Had it for just over a year, bought it from Norwich for £450 to replace my crashed Williams :(
Here is a few more pics ...
Hi - I have posted on the forum a few times but I am now a paid up member so hello! From Stowmarket but I spend most of my time in shitty Hatfield at uni.
I have a 1991 Clio 16V, here's a pic from the recent ClioSport Rolling Road Day in Ipswich.
I was basically hoping my gearbox was f**ked and 50 bhp where being used up turning it round. Turns out the box is fine and my engine is getting tired :( - properly the better way round tbh
Lol, the drag is how much power is used up in the transmission - but RR's aren't brilliant at calculating it. Basically power at wheels + drag value = Power at the flywheel in theory. Comparing power at the wheels is best when comparing cars. :)
It had a drag value of over 50 last time! The machine must have f**ked up.
This time it actually ran 8 BHP more at the wheels!
12BHP down from standard after 168k and 18 years isn't too bad, the 197s seemed to suffer worse!
Searched for it on Google and found this
bi-modal” induction system, with twin inlet tracts

How did you guess! They have both been done, although one very poorly. I had no service history with the car so I have no idea, but at £450 I can't complain
In the instructions to fit it, it says to cut the signal wire so that you can only open it right next to the car - If you got a proper fitter to fit it they probably cut it down, I fitted it myself and left the wire at full length so it works from great distances!
Haven't posted much on here, but now Clio16valver is down I might as well!
Bought this of a guy in Norwich in August 2008, 160,000ish miles and going strong! Made 152 BHP at the recent Ipswich rolling road day.
