Yeah, that is an issue. Fortunately with my Smart i bought steel wheels (cost barely anything) and bought the winters very cheaply as they are only 15". I also have a garage to store my normal wheels.
I guess it depends how desperately you need to get to work. If your customers are local, then...
I was like Daniel really, used to think it was all down to the driver. But 2 years back i got stranded in my Mum's Merc. It was auto, had traction control that couldn't be turned off and summer tyres. Made it most of the journey then hit a big hill with stationary traffic; ended up stuck there...
Just curious (can we have a poll?); a couple of winters ago i thought to myself "Must get winter tyres next time." This time, i finally have.
So, who is stubbornly going to carry on with their summar/all weather tyres, and who has forked out on a set of winters?
Just hope it snows now!
Great vid, but i'm going to go against the grain and say i find it quite an ugly thing. Its ill-proportioned in my eyes.

We have one parked up round here, not sure what for, but its not for speeding. I think it may be for bad parking (i.e. double yellows / zigzags). But it is a pretty obvious warning sign having a Smart with a fcuk off sized camera on the roof!
Imagine from road tests like this:

The reality is that Sam's isn't a road car. Just because it looks similar doesn't mean the specification is...
Yeah, was a real shame as we'd invited family down as well! With the Viper and Ginetta having early issues i reckon we could have done pretty well overall.
A thread wouldn't be complete with a little NSX.
